Overview

crownkit is the official command-line interface for Kings Package Manager. It scaffolds new projects, resolves and installs dependencies, and publishes your own packages to the registry.

Install

kpm install -g crownkit

Usage

Once installed, crownkit exposes a small set of commands that mirror the workflow you would expect from any package manager:

  • kpm search <term> — search the registry by name or tag
  • kpm install <package> — add a package to the current project
  • kpm publish — publish the current directory as a new package version

Example

$ kpm search cachenroyal-cache   4.0.1   an in-memory LRU cache with TTLnn$ kpm install royal-cachen+ [email protected] 1 package in 0.4s

Configuration

crownkit reads a kpm.json manifest from the project root, similar in spirit to a standard package manifest: name, version, dependencies, and a scripts map for common tasks.
